Testimonies:
“I am very pleased with the plant and color selections for our front beds. The blue salvia has seeded itself into numerous blooming plants that are a haven for the bees. The Red Columbine produced a good and prolonged showing in the spring. The New Gold lantana has produced a carpet of blooms along with the Blackfoot daisies. The bonus with the daisies is the sweet, delicate fragrance, which was not expected. The plumbagos… are putting on a nice show of blue. The Golden Showers has come into a nice bloom after dying completely back with the winter cold. The Hot Lips salvias and Pink Skullcap have bloomed profusely, pulling the red/pinks from the front of the house thru to the side. The Pinkie roses have been growing steadily and are now going up the trellis. They had a great bloom earlier in the spring. The Brazilian Skyflower is just now beginning to bloom and I’m looking forward to a great show from it. Yellow, white, red/pink, and blues repeat throughout with different hues, textures, heights… and each draws you in for a closer look.” – Cindy and Mike, Cedar Park
“Despite the setbacks from the heat, we are really pleased with the design of the plant bed. We also really appreciated the detailed instructions for how to prepare the soil for planting, the list of tools we would need, and all the helpful advice. Thank you!” – Becky and Oscar, North Austin
“Jill and I worked with Peter this past spring to design the landscape for a courtyard for our new home. We had the original, builder-provided plants but were looking for something that created a “New Orleans” style that we both loved. A bit harder in Texas for sure. Over a period of weeks, Peter came out, talked to us, and more important, listened to us. And unlike so many others we’ve worked with, Peter’s design wasn’t simply a replay of what we had told him we liked, but a design that incorporated ALL of the elements we liked but with different plants and groupings we had never considered. And all of the plants were selected for placement based on weather patterns, sun/shade times, etc.. We did the work to plant everything ourselves, but Peter provided a detailed list for how to prepare the soil. We installed our courtyard designs in April and have been every pleased with the results. Everything is working out exactly as we had hoped. The guests that have visited have all commented as to how nice and unique our courtyard looked. To say I’m pleased is an understatement. We are about to begin work with him on a larger project redesigning our backyard. I would highly recommend if you are considering a landscape designer, definitely talk with Peter.” – David and Jill, Round Rock
“Planning our native landscaping bed with Peter’s help was a breeze. After asking a few questions, Peter quickly honed in on what look we were hoping to achieve as well as what types of plants we would likely enjoy and do well with. The great thing about Peter is that he has an artist’s eye and many years of experience in his own garden, so he can envision things of beauty and has the expertise to know what plants will work to bring that vision to life. Plus, he’s happy to help you plan out your landscape in as much detail as you like. Our previous experience with landscaper designers had been that they would generally describe their vision but never give you enough information to achieve it on your own, if that was your preference. Peter helped us sketch out the size of the bed, made suggestions for design “anchors” (both rocks and plants), and then brainstormed a list of plants we could consider, as well as where we could put them in the beds. When he left, we could really envision what our new bed would look like, which made us all the more excited to get started. Peter was great to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and we would highly recommend him for expert landscaping advice.” – Monica and Eric, North Austin
“Just dropping you a line to let you know how the trees and shrubs are doing. Your help with the selection was invaluable. The Mexican Plums are doing very well despite the draught, and the maple has adapted quite well. The sumac will certainly give us the fall color we are looking for, as well. I greatly appreciate your patience and attention to our specific needs and plants that would work well in our current landscape. I look forward to working with you on our next home project.” – Larry, Georgetown
“Peter was very helpful in my plant selection and placement of the plants in a flower bed that had challenging conditions. He has a good eye for color combinations. I am very pleased with the flowerbed and recommend him to anyone needing advice in planting in our Central Texas soil and heat.” – Linda, Round Rock
